Choices in Life

Any change, any loss, does not make us victims. Others can shake you, surprise you or disappoint you.

But they can’t prevent you from moving on.

No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you can always do something. On every turn of life, you will always have a choice. And that choice can be your power.

An Unlived Life

I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loose my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise.

I choose to risk my significance to live; so that which comes to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which comes to me as blossom, goes on as fruit.

Seek out that particular mental attribute which makes you feel most deeply and vitally alive, along with which comes the inner voice which says: "This is real me" and when you have found that attitude, follow it.

Forget about the days when its been cloudy, but don't forget your hours in the sun. Forget about mistakes that you can't change now, but don't forget the lessons that you've learned.

Forget about the times you've been defeated, but don ' t forget the victories you've won. Forget about misfortunes you encounter, but don't forget the times your luck has turned

Forget about the days when you've been lonely, but don ' t forget the friendly smiles you've seen. Forget about the plans that didn't seem to work out right, but...Don't forget to Always Have A Dream

Keep Smiling

No One Teaches

No one was ever really taught by another. Each of us has to teach himself. The external teacher offers only the suggestion which rouses the internal teacher to work to understand things. Then things will be made clearer to us by our own power of perception and thought, and we shall realize them in our own souls. That realization will grow into the intense power of will.

Change is Welcome

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain. Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts.

None of us knows what the next change is going to be, what unexpected opportunity is just around the corner, waiting a few months or a few years to change all the tenor of our lives. We live in a moment of history where change is so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is already disappearing.

If we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't really living. The universe is change; our life is what our thoughts make it.

Welcome criticism

When you are sincere in your efforts, you have nothing to fear from criticism. For when you are sincere, criticism can make you stronger and more effective.

Listen eagerly to those who disagree with you. Seek to genuinely understand their perspectives.
Don't get caught up in the need to prove you are right. Focus instead on more fully understanding what is true, what is workable, and what is best for everyone.

The willingness to be open to criticism is one of the surest signs that you're on a successful and authentic path. If you feel the need to avoid or evade or ignore your critics, it may well be time to re-evaluate your efforts.

Intelligently responding to the doubts of others will reduce your own doubts and help your confidence grow. From the criticism, you can gain much valuable and useful information.
Welcome the criticism, and respond with sincere gratitude. Being challenged is one of the most enriching experiences you can have.

Do Less

If a friend is in trouble, don't annoy him by asking, If there is something I can do? Think up something appropriate and do it.
Do Less Thinking, and pay more attention to your heart. Do Less Acquiring, and pay more attention to what you already have. Do Less Complaining, and pay more attention to giving. Do Less Controlling, and pay more attention to letting go.

Do Less Criticizing, and pay more attention to complementing. Do Less Arguing, and pay more attention to forgiveness. Do Less Running Around, and pay more attention to stillness. Do Less Talking, and pay more attention to silence.

Let fear go

Fear is powerful, and yet it is fragile. Though it can stop you cold, fear can be gone in an instant when you decide you've had enough of it.

Fear is a very effective way for you to get your own attention. Then as soon as you're fully aware of a fear and what it has to say, you have no more use for it.

Let the fear advise you and prepare you, and then just let it go. It is nothing more than a thought over which you have full control.

When fear is what holds you back, there's a quick way forward. Accept the fear, feel it, learn from it, and then drop it completely from your mind.

By letting go of fear, you transform it into courage. In this way, you put the power of that fear to positive use.

Boldly step through each fear, then move on past it. And feel the strength that you've just gained.

Do Your Best

We often say that we want a peaceful life. We wish to be at a place where there is no noise, no trouble, or no hard work. But this does not actually mean Peace. To be in the midst of all chaos of life, and still be calm in your heart is what "peace" is.

Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.
